The poem truly depicts the mind of a relentless thinker whose thoughts have been haunting him always..someone who need a hope on a solid rock bt couldnt reach to it somehow..feels as if the heart of the poet is all tangled up in wires of thorn..being a captive to his own fears pulls him back from progress..This is the vibe i got from the poem.
Now, about the correction i presume in the 32nd sentence it ought to be “build”..and i would like the next sentence to be “Lurking in the shadows to hunt” rather than adding the “Just to”..
Your poems reminds the reader of his/her inner thoughts which most of the people tries to mask with various social gestures…a fairly good poem.

It is a deep anguish of the mind….You started brilliantly………became too wordy in the middle…need to mature…keep writing…..
I think most people go through the same agony….and the fate allows it to happen.

Excellent read! Fight the good fight brother….it is worth the anquish. In time, you will find comfort swimming upstream or downstream….and always relish those calm waters. It is there you will find the peace of mind necessary for introspection and growth!
